Wireless earbuds · a concept
Merrow Still
Quiet, carried small.
01
Teal inside.
Lift the lid and the seats are the first thing you see.
02
No stems. No wings.
Magnets hold each bud in its seat and let go when you reach for it.
03
Shaped like a drop.
The body angles the tip toward the ear and rests in its bowl.
04
Six layers. Nothing extra.
- 01 Touch shell
- 02 Logic board
- 03 Battery cell
- 04 10 mm driver
- 05 Inner housing
- 06 Silicone ear tip
Design shapes for this concept, not an engineering drawing.
05
Back together.
Six layers close into one small drop again.
06
Closes with one thumb.
Both buds drop back into their seats, and the lid shuts with a soft click.
Sound
A small driver with room to breathe.
A 10 mm driver in a sealed chamber behind a micro-perforated vent. Two microphones on each bud drive active noise canceling.
Case
A hinge worth opening.
Three stainless knuckles on a polished pin. The lid opens with one thumb and closes with a soft click.
Finishes
Chalk or Graphite.
Teal inside both. Drag the case to turn it, or use the arrow keys.
